Gilbert, AZ – In a chilling incident that has shocked the local community, Rachel Hansen was tragically killed in her own apartment in the early hours of Saturday, June 4, 2022. According to police reports, Hansen made a desperate 911 call just after 2:00 a.m., reporting that an intruder had entered her apartment while she was sleeping and shot her. Despite being swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, Hansen succumbed to her injuries, leaving friends, family, and the community to mourn the loss of a life taken so violently and prematurely.
In response to this heinous act, authorities have launched a full-scale investigation, seeking any leads that could help bring the perpetrator(s) to justice. In a bid to encourage community members to come forward with information, a reward of up to $2,000.00 has been offered for tips that lead to the arrest of those responsible for this cowardly murder.
