A Gilbert mom plans to sue police after she said detectives are ignoring evidence that would clear her name in her toddler’s death and allow her to get custody back of her daughter. Cheyenne Benthin was suspected of killing her son but an autopsy report said he died of natural causes. However, the case remains open and she can’t get custody back of her 4-year-old daughter.
