PHOENIX (AZFamily) – We’re about to begin the hottest stretch of the summer with six straight “First Alert” days for dangerous heat, beginning Thursday. There’s no sign of relief from the monsoon for our firefighters so the extreme heat makes their job even more difficult and forces crews to find ways to stay cool on the fire lines.
