PHOENIX (AZFamily)-Police shut down parts of Central Avenue in uptown Phoenix Thursday night due to an unknown situation. Police and fire personnel were called to the area near Central Avenue and Camelback Road just before 9 p.m., but the reason for the extensive law enforcement presence has not yet been confirmed.
