PHOENIX – A pedestrian is dead after an early morning crash in Phoenix, the city’s police department said. Around 5 a.m. on Friday, officers were called to a scene near 44th and Van Buren streets for reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. Police found a man with serious injuries as they arrived.
