The City of Scottsdale has hired Will Lofdahl as the next general manager of WestWorld of Scottsdale.

Lofdahl is a Scottsdale native who brings more than three decades of special event and facility management experience back to his hometown, according to a press release. He previously served in executive roles at large exhibition and sports venues in western Canada, and as the assistant general manager for the Georgia Dome, home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons.

As general manager, he will be responsible for the executive leadership, direction, and management of WestWorld, the city’s internationally recognized multi-use event and equestrian center. Lofdahl began his tenure at WestWorld Sept. 23.
