Fire breaks out at Arizona Renaissance Festival fairgrounds

MESA, Ariz. — Fire crews successfully extinguished a warehouse fire that broke out overnight at the Arizona Renaissance Festival fairgrounds.

Firefighters from the Superstition Fire and Medical District were called out to the fairgrounds around 9:45 p.m. for reports that smoke was pouring out of a large steel commercial building in the area.

Crews from the Mesa and Gilbert fire departments were called in to help extinguish the blaze. Fortunately, no one was hurt, SFMD said…
