Trader Joe’s Leads New Wave of Tenants at Goodyear’s GSQ Lifestyle Hub Set for 2026

Goodyear is gearing up for a major retail and dining upgrade with the official announcement that Trader Joe’s will open its first location in the city. The highly anticipated grocer will anchor a new phase of GSQ, the city’s mixed-use cultural hub, developed by RED Development and Globe Corp. The store will occupy a 13,500-square-foot space, offering its signature blend of eclectic grocery items and neighborly charm.

Trader Joe’s store captain Chris Warren shared his excitement in a statement to the City of Goodyear, saying he looks forward to hiring locally and contributing to the community’s vibrant growth. “I’m thrilled to lead the opening of Trader Joe’s in Goodyear and to become part of a community that has shown such enthusiastic support,” Warren said.

Two additional tenants were also revealed as part of the GSQ expansion. Black Rock Coffee Bar, a 1,460-square-foot drive-thru coffee shop, will offer its signature drinks and community-focused atmosphere starting in 2026.
