The Sun City PRIDES and Sun City Posse Color Guard gathered on Memorial Day afternoon to lower the American, Arizona and Sun City flags located at 107th and Grand avenues.
The flags were taken down and will be stored to protect them from the summer heat and monsoon storms; they will be raised again on Labor Day.
A civic coalition of SCHOA, the PRIDES, the SCHOA Foundation, the Sun City Posse and the Condo Owners Association was created to cover the cost of the maintaining the flags and the PRIDES have taken on stewardship of them…
