Glendale man sentenced to life for murders of girlriend, 4-year-old

A Glendale man was sentenced to life in prison for the 2019 murder of his girlfriend and her 4-year-old daughter.

Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell announced on June 4 that Brandon Andres Bautista Torres, 30, has been sentenced to natural life in prison for the murders.

In June 2019, Glendale Police received a 911 call in which Torres claimed an intruder had broken into his home and shot his girlfriend, Selina Toyos, 23, and her daughter, Aleena Bermudez.
