Tragedy has left its mark on the community of Surprise, Arizona, as 41-year-old surgical tech and Navy veteran Alison Gregory was found murdered, leaving behind a devastated family and a void among her coworkers and friends. According to ABC15, Alison was known for her positivity and wit, with her sister Autumn Dobbins recalling her as “beautiful and fun and funny and witty.” Colleagues at the Banner Del E Webb Medical Center remember her as a vital presence, one coworker, Gina Sanchez, said, “She was the light of the OR, she always was positive person, she never had anything negative to say about anybody.”

After not showing up to pick up a relative from the airport, Alison Gregory was reported missing, setting off a distressing chain of events leading to her husband, Brandon Gregory, being arrested in connection to her death, ABC15 reports showed signs of a physical struggle in their home, and a subsequent manhunt uncovered Alison’s vehicle in Mohave County with Brandon inside and Alison’s body in the backseat, furthermore, it was revealed Brandon had admitted to killing Alison amid a contentious divorce proceedings, claims which have since led to Brandon facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder and now there’s a community initiative raising funds to support her two daughters, with an online fundraiser surpassing $65,000. AZFamily’s report paints a gruesome picture, alleging that Brandon confessed to murdering Alison with a baseball bat before attempting to cover up the crime by disposing of evidence, which included personal items like Alison’s cell phone and Apple Watch.

During a heartbreaking court appearance, Alison’s family spoke out against the horror they now face, dealing with the aftermath of her death. “Brandon murdered our sister and devastated our family,” her sister said in a statement obtained by AZFamily. Her mother termed Brandon a coward for his actions, while her brother emphasized the manipulative nature of the accused, stressing their desire for him to be denied bail.
