Glendale officials to move roaming peacocks after years of damage

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — If you’ve ever been to the Glendale Main Library, you’ve likely seen peacocks and peahens in the trees, on the roof of the building or even walking around the parking lot.

While they are beautiful, city leaders say they’ve caused tens of thousands of dollars in damage over the years, and they’re working on a plan to relocate the majority of peafowl.

How did the Peacocks get here?
