While the vehicle involved was later found abandoned the identity of the driver who navigates behind the specter of anonymity remains elusive, Sergeant Andy Williams expressed the difficulties in piecing together who might have taken the wheel that fateful day, noting the litany of variables with people lending, renting, or borrowing vehicles and the urgent need for an eyewitness, “But what we really need is someone who can say, ‘I saw this individual that day,’ or maybe there’s another camera that recorded it.
