Threat triggering lockdown at Valley high school deemed ‘unsubstantiated’

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A high school in the Peoria Unified High School District was placed under lockdown Friday morning as Glendale police investigated a possible threat.

The lockdown lasted until about 10:30 a.m. at R.S. Kellis High School, located near 91st and Orangewood avenues.
