Avondale police arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend on Nov. 8.
Officers responded about 6 a.m. to reports of a shooting inside an apartment near Dysart and McDowell roads, according to Sgt. Jenny Chavez, a spokesperson for the Avondale Police Department.
