AZ man regrets shooting into car with kids in road-rage case, report says

A man accused of fatally shooting two people, including a child, said he wouldn’t have fired his weapon at the people who allegedly assaulted him had he known kids were in their vehicle, police said.

Tyrone Dee Chilly, a 28-year-old Phoenix resident, claimed to police that 30-year-old Quincy Jay Polk and a woman — who has not been identified — attacked him in a south Phoenix parking lot as part of an apparent road rage incident on Nov. 22.

The fight, near 19th Avenue and Baseline Road, turned deadly when Chilly drew a firearm from his car to allegedly gun down Polk, whose 8-year-old daughter, Envy Cardenas, was reportedly struck by a stray bullet, according to police…
