PHOENIX – An overnight motorcycle spill on a Valley freeway turned deadly when the driver was struck by passing traffic, authorities said.
The incident began around 12:35 a.m. when a motorcycle with two people aboard lost control and went down on the westbound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway near Priest Road in Tempe, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
