SURPRISE, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead, and another is in the hospital after a serious crash in Surprise late Saturday morning.
According to Surprise police, a motorcyclist and SUV collided near Bell Road and Sunrise Boulevard around 11 a.m. The motorcyclist and one person inside the SUV were rushed to the hospital, where the biker later died.
Arizona’s Family news crews witnessed a red SUV on its roof and a motorcycle lying several feet away in the road.
Investigators are still working to determine what led up to the collision. The road was closed for several hours but reopened at 2 p.m…
