PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign is hundreds of thousands of dollars short of its fundraising goal in Arizona, threatening programs and services the nonprofit provides year-round.
The organization is about $800,000 short of its state goal and $200,000 behind compared to the same time last year, according to Scott Johnson, public relations director for The Salvation Army’s Southwest Division.
