PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — Firefighters made a disturbing discovery while battling a fire at a Peoria senior living community Monday night.
Fire crews said they found a man and a woman dead during the fire at the Olive Ridge Senior Living apartment community at Olive Avenue and 103rd Avenue.
Officials said the Peoria Fire-Medical Department, Sun City Fire Department, Glendale Fire Department and the El Mirage Fire Department were called out to the complex around 7:30 p.m. When crews arrived, they saw lots of flames and smoke.
