AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A suspect is in custody after a hatchet attack left a man seriously hurt in Avondale early Sunday morning.
Just before 6 a.m., Avondale police officers were asked to do a welfare check at a home on Pacific Drive, near Central Avenue and Buckeye Road.
