Glendale police help man overcome addiction through compassion

GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A Glendale man who spent years cycling through jail and homelessness says the compassion shown by local police officers helped him overcome drug addiction and rebuild his life.

Bryan Peters, 38, struggled with addiction for decades and had frequent encounters with Glendale police. Officers knew him by name from his repeated arrests.
