Phoenix hospital agrees to pay millions over alleged ‘kickback’ scheme

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Phoenix surgical hospital and its partners have agreed to pay $5.6 million to settle yearslong kickback allegations, the Justice Department said Tuesday.

OASIS Hospital, United Surgical Partners International Inc. and Dignity/USP Phoenix Surgery Centers were accused of having an illegal relationship with Southwest Physicians.
