Woman accused of fleeing after hitting, killing pedestrian in Tolleson

TOLLESON, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman is accused of hitting a man and fleeing the scene in the West Valley this week.

Gladys Woods, 58, was arrested in connection with the alleged crime.

On Tuesday, shortly before 6 a.m., Tolleson police were called to a crash involving a pedestrian near 83rd Avenue and Van Buren Street. Officers arrived and found the victim face down in the road. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died…
