KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A 60-year-old Rockford man died Monday evening after his motorcycle left the road and crashed in Algoma Township, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 6:30 p.m. to Algoma Avenue south of 12 Mile Road after reports of a crash. Investigators say the motorcycle left the roadway for unknown reasons and struck a ditch, ejecting the rider. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
