GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Startled awake by a massive blast, neighbors in Plainfield Township raced to call 911 early Sunday after a nearby home exploded.
“There’s an explosion across the street,” one caller told a dispatcher. “The house is gone…It’s horrible. It’s horrible.”
