GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Van Andel Institute is set to receive $5,409,432 in federal support through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The funding, announced by Congresswoman Hillary Scholten (D-MI), will support a variety of medical research projects.
“Van Andel Institute continues to make our state proud through cutting-edge clinical research and discoveries,” said Scholten. “These projects will advance our understanding of a variety of health concerns and how to treat them, including cancer, allergies, and complications with aging.
