3 wastewater leaks found on new Muskegon, Ottawa county pipeline

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Three wastewater leaks were discovered this week in Muskegon and Ottawa counties and were reported to the state.

The leaks, which were “just drips coming through the vents” on three aboveground air release valves, were connected to the wastewater pipeline connecting to industrial facilities in Ottawa County, said Dave Johnson, director of the Muskegon County Resource Recovery Center.
