GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Adobe Mexican Kitchen, formerly known as Adobe In & Out, has officially opened its new location on Grand Rapids’ West Side.

Adobe previously had a West Side location on Fulton Street near Seward Avenue, but in 2024 the owner announced plans to relocate to Bridge Street. Meanwhile, the Fulton Street building has been demolished to make way for a mixed-use project that will include about 109 housing units and 6,500 square feet of commercial space. On Tuesday, a News 8 crew saw little left of the former Adobe building, though the sign was still standing.

Earlier this year, the state approved a $4.7 million loan and a state tax capture worth up to $1.8 million for the housing complex.
