Former Adobe Mexican Kitchen in Grand Rapids torn down to make way for apartments

GRAND RAPIDS, MI —The Adobe Mexican Kitchen restaurant at the corner of W. Fulton Street and Lexington Avenue NW in Grand Rapids has been demolished to make room for a four-story building with 109 apartments and ground-floor commercial space.

Workers were prepping the site, 617 W. Fulton St., for construction Tuesday afternoon.
