GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The last of a trio nabbed in a scheme to steal customer reward points from a West Michigan retailer has been sentenced to probation and ordered to pay nearly $73,000 in restitution.
Although the retailer is not named in charging documents, a sentencing memorandum identifies Meijer as the targeted company.

A computer code devised by Matthew McCord, 43, allowed others to steal the equivalent of cash from the retail giant, court records show.
