Entrepreneur starts shuttle to transport amphitheater crowds in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The opening of the Acrisure Amphitheatre has brought a new wave of business to the streets of downtown Grand Rapids. From preparties and afterparties to concert deals at local bars, many people are finding ways to capitalize on the increase in visitors. One local entrepreneur is doing it in style.

William McFadden isn’t new to running a business. He runs a youth advocacy program called Save a Life a Day after seeing a need in his community. So when it comes to taking advantage of new developments around you, he said that’s not something you can take a back seat on.

“I was thinking about it a few years ago, probably like 2012,” McFadden said.

McFadden said he had the idea for a golf cart mobile service more than 10 years ago, but there were a few bumps in the road…
