Man pleads guilty to April assault outside Grand Rapids bar

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — One of two men prosecuted in an assault outside a Grand Rapids bar has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge.

Jaziel Reyes Roman pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of aggravated assault for the April 18 confrontation outside The Twisted Bull Saloon.

The victim was hospitalized for several days with a brain bleed. He was kicked while unconscious on the ground, records show.
