GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A driver was seriously hurt and diesel fuel was spilled after a car collided with a semi-truck in Ottawa County early Monday.
The crash happened on 48th Avenue north of Bauer Road in Georgetown Township, over five miles northwest of Hudsonville, just after 7:30 a.m.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, a woman, 20, of Dexter, Mich., was driving north on 48th Avenue from Bauer Road when she crossed the center line and hit a semi-truck.
The impact from the crash sent the semi-truck over the northbound lane of 48th Avenue. It stopped in a drainage ditch and tipped over on the driver’s side…
