Kent County shows off new drone technology: ‘It’s improving public safety outcomes’

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Law enforcement agencies across the country use drones as their best and sometimes fastest resource when responding emergencies.

In recent years, the eyes in the sky technology has become more advanced, according to Kent County Sheriff’s Office Captain Joel Roon.

The Skydio X10 is the Kent County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) newest drone model. Its also now being used by law enforcement agencies throughout Michigan.
