GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A former Michigan Adult Protective Services worker accused of defrauding several of the same elderly women he was tasked with protecting has been sentenced to one year behind bars.
On Thursday, a judge sentenced Derek Plumb to one year in jail and three years’ probation in exchange for the 40-year-old pleading guilty to one count of embezzling more than $100,000 from a vulnerable adult.
