GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A vintage marketplace on Grand Rapids’ southwest side has grown, adding another 12,000 square feet of retail space at the former Keeler Brass site.
Earlier this summer, The Glasshouse opened its doors at 955 Godfrey Ave. SW. Owner Heather Nowakowski describes it as “late ’90s Y2K vintage.”
“It’s a little young, a little more current, a little more rock-and-roll, a little more fun,” she told News 8. “We have incredible vendors, about 50 of them, that bring not only decor and cool stuff, little tchotchkes, but (also) clothing — great vintage clothing.”

At The Glasshouse, you’ll find a range of plants, art, cards, perfumes, decor, clothes, shoes and gifts — including white elephant gifts. The vendors rent space and pay by the month.
The Glasshouse also hosts a 16,000-square-foot indoor flea market on the weekends. Vendors can rent one of the 65 spaces for $65 per weekend. The flea market will be open every single Saturday and Sunday — regardless of the weather…
