Corewell Health is making a $1.7 billion investment to construct new hospital towers and expand clinical services in Grand Rapids and Troy, Michigan. The planned capital projects at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital and Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital will add private patient rooms, expand emergency care, and update surgical facilities, Corewell Health announced.
“This is a once-in-a-generation investment in Michigan’s healthcare future and it reflects our commitment to making healthcare more personal, delivering extraordinary care and making it easier for people to access the services they need,” says Tina Freese Decker, president and CEO, Corewell Health, in a release. “As our communities grow and patient needs become more complex, we are building the capacity, technology and care environments needed today for our patients and team members for many years to come.”
