GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — During the upcoming Eastown Streetfair in Grand Rapids on Sept. 19, local bar Mulligan’s Pub will be selling brand-new CD compilations of live performances featuring local and Michigan-based bands at the venue.
“We have a great local scene,” Adam Kutchman, sound engineer at Mulligan’s Pub, said.
Grand Rapids board game convention to host 12th show
At select performances between 2025 and 2026, Kutchman has collaborated with bands performing in Mulligan’s Pub’s venue space on recording a song for the CD compilation, called “Grand Rapids Rocks Vol. 1.”
“There was a hard drive full of really good performances,” Kutchman said. “I realized I had an album’s worth of good material and we could use it as promotion for the venue.”
Available for a minimum donation of $5, the new CD will be available for purchase at Mulligan’s Pub during the Eastown Streetfair, and several of the bands featured on the CD will be performing that day at both Mulligan’s Pub and Billy’s Lounge, nearby…
