GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Actor Bryan Cranston of hit show Breaking Bad will be in Grand Rapids for ArtPrize to promote his mezcal and tequila brand, the competition says.
Dos Hombres, the agave spirits brand that is co-founded by Cranston and co-star Aaron Paul — who played Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad — will be served at bars and restaurants throughout the city during ArtPrize. The festival runs from Sept. 18 through Oct. 3.
During the final weekend, Cranston will be in Grand Rapids for the ArtPrize Awards Celebration on Oct. 3. He will help present an award to one of ArtPrize’s winning artists. The actor will also host a private seminar with high school and college students in the area that focuses on acting, storytelling and creative process.
“Experiencing art, in any form, brings joy and balance to our lives. It challenges us, connects us, and invites us to see the world from different perspectives. So it’s essential to support it,” said Cranston in a release from ArtPrize. “To witness Grand Rapids transform by that kind of creative energy with ArtPrize is something to be proud of, and I’m really looking forward to attending.”…
