GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Roadwork starts Tuesday on the southbound US-131 bridge, bringing closures through October.
The Michigan Department of Transportation says it’s investing $1 million to make structural improvements to the bridge that runs over northbound US-131 at I-196 in Grand Rapids.
Drivers should expect single- and double-lane closures through October. Starting Tuesday, the eastbound 77A exit ramp and the Pearl Street entrance ramp are closed. Starting Sept. 24, the Leonard Street/Turner Avenue will also be closed…
