BYRON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A bull had to be killed after it and a cow escaped along US-131 south of Grand Rapids Tuesday morning, authorities say.
The animals initially got loose from a livestock trailer on northbound US-131 near 76th Street in Byron Township around 10:30 a.m., the Kent County Sheriff’s Office said. Video sent to News 8 from a driver on US-131 shows the bull and cow running down the highway amid stalled traffic.
“What do we got going on here?” the driver can be heard wondering. “Yeah, brother. Oh, please don’t ram-jam my van. Oh, boy. What in tarnation?”…
