GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was arrested Monday after allegedly damaging a Michigan State Police cruiser while aboard a ferry.
MSP says the incident started around 1:30 p.m. when a trooper was dispatched to Sugar Island to investigate a driving complaint. Before they could investigate, the trooper was called away to respond to an emergency.
The trooper and the driver involved in the complaint ended up aboard the Sugar Island Ferry to travel to the mainland. After the ferry departed, the driver got out of his vehicle and allegedly started striking the patrol car with a hammer…
