GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Arbor Circle will open The Bridge youth shelter to the public for its annual End of Summer Celebration on Tuesday, September 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 1115 Ball Ave. NE in Grand Rapids.
The free event marks the only time during the year when community members can tour the recently updated facility that provides emergency shelter for homeless youth ages 10-17 and supportive services for young adults up to age 24.
Attendees will see firsthand where young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability find temporary safety and support.
