GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Hundreds of people gathered in Grand Rapids Saturday to support a local nonprofit that gives free cancer and grief support to the community.
‘West Side Walk’ celebrated its 12th annual event this year, commemorated with a 1.5 mile route for participants to walk in the Union High School area. The walk raises money for Gilda’s Club, a local mental health resource for those with cancer and for their loved ones as well. Gilda’s Club also offers grief support options, too.
