GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids Police are asking the community for help in locating a suspect responsible for an August hit-and-run.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 28, an adult riding an e-bike northbound on Walker Avenue NW crossed onto Fremont Street NW and was hit by a pickup truck that did not yield to a stop sign. The e-bike rider was run over and suffered serious injuries as a result.
The pickup truck fled north on Walker Avenue, but then made a U-turn to drive southbound. The truck did not stop when it passed the scene of the crash and instead continued southbound onto Stocking Avenue and was last seen turning west onto 5th Street…
