BELMONT, MI – The state has denied a request by Kent County for a $2.3 million grant to help purchase a 160-acre trail and natural area at Cannonsburg ski area. It was the second time the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund has denied the county’s grant application to purchase property at the ski area.
