TYRONE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say M-37 is closed near Kent City due to a three-car crash.
Kent County Dispatch Authority said the intersection of M-37 and 17 Mile Road in Tyrone Township is closed Wednesday morning. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.
Dispatch said the crash happened shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday and Aero Med was called to the scene. Michigan State Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash and at least one person was taken to the hospital.
It’s unknown what led to the crash and the extent of injuries.
