Kent County passes resolutions to secure 233 acres of farmland for preservation

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Kent County Board of Commissioners passed two resolutions to fund the preservation of 233.5 acres of farmland in Sparta Township Thursday. The county says with the funds it’s actively pursuing development rights from the Linda Bradford Anderson Trust and the Bettes & Kingsbury families, who both own farmland in Sparta Township.
