KENT COUNTY, MI – Kent County is moving forward on permanently preserving another 233.5 acres of farmland. On Thursday, Feb. 8, the Kent County Board of Commissioners secured funding to purchase the development rights of the two Sparta Township properties in a move that would keep them as farmland in perpetuity.
